Company Dictionary

In this section, you will learn how to manage various information about employees in your organization using the different functions and management tools of the Personellerim PDKS application. Each tab focuses on a specific management area, providing a wide range of information from employees' tasks and titles to types of advances and awards, and types of penalties. Additionally, by managing location and shift groups, you can more effectively organize the physical and working times of your organization.

You can access the Company Dictionary settings by clicking on Company Special Settings in the menu and then on Company Dictionary.

The definitions in this section will be referenced in various operations of the Personellerim PDKS application. Each definition plays an important role in the operation of the application and is necessary to make employee management more systematic.

The following definitions detail the functions and purposes of each tab.

Definitions

Tasks

Definition: Used to define job descriptions and responsibilities of employees.

Example: By adding job descriptions such as "Accountant," "Sales Representative," "HR Specialist," you can clearly define the tasks and responsibilities of employees.

Titles

Definition: Used as a reference in determining and managing positions within your organization.

Example: By defining titles such as "Accounting Manager," "Sales Manager," "HR Director," you can specify the positions employees hold and authorize them accordingly.

Worker Groups

Definition: Used to group employees with similar tasks and responsibilities.

Example: By creating worker groups such as "Accounting Team," "Sales Team," "HR Team," you can group employees working in the same department and manage operations for these groups more easily.

Advance Types

Definition: Used to determine the types of advances provided to employees.

Example: By defining advance types such as "Salary Advance," "Travel Advance," "Meal Advance," you can provide different types of advances to employees and track these advances.

Award Types

Definition: Used in managing awards given to employees.

Example: By defining award types such as "Employee of the Month," "Achievement Award," "Long Service Award," you can categorize the awards given to employees and conduct the awarding process more systematically.

Penalty Types

Definition: Used as a reference in the application and management of disciplinary penalties.

Example: By defining penalty types such as "Late Penalty," "Unexcused Absence Penalty," "Rule Violation Penalty," you can specify the types of disciplinary penalties.

Location Groups

Definition: Used to manage the different physical locations of the company.

Example: By creating location groups such as "Head Office," "Branch 1," "Branch 2," you can group different physical locations and manage operations for these locations more effectively.

Shift Groups

Definition: Used as a reference in shift planning and the regulation of working hours.

Example: By creating shift groups such as "Day Shift," "Night Shift," "Weekend Shift," you can more systematically plan the working hours and shift schedules of employees.

These definitions are critical for ensuring consistency throughout the application and for the correct execution of operations. Each definition contributes to the organization and optimization of organizational processes by being used in related operations. To fully utilize the functionality of the application, these definitions must be made carefully and correctly.

Adding a Task

  1. Click on Company Special Settings > Company Dictionary in the menu.
  2. Click on the Tasks tab.
  3. Click the + New Record Add button.
  4. In the opened window, enter the Item Name and Description.
  5. Click the Save button.

Editing a Task

  1. Click the Edit icon in the relevant record row of the task you want to edit.
  2. In the opened window, make the necessary changes.
  3. Click the Save button to save the changes.

Deleting a Task

  1. Click the Delete icon in the relevant record row of the task you want to delete.
  2. Confirm the deletion.

Adding a Title

  1. Click on Company Special Settings > Company Dictionary in the menu.
  2. Click on the Titles tab.
  3. Click the + New Record Add button.
  4. In the opened window, enter the Item Name and Description.
  5. Click the Save button.

Editing a Title

  1. Click the Edit icon in the relevant record row of the title you want to edit.
  2. In the opened window, make the necessary changes.
  3. Click the Save button to save the changes.

Deleting a Title

  1. Click the Delete icon in the relevant record row of the title you want to delete.
  2. Confirm the deletion.

Adding a Worker Group

  1. Click on Company Special Settings > Company Dictionary in the menu.
  2. Click on the Worker Groups tab.
  3. Click the + New Record Add button.
  4. In the opened window, enter the Item Name and Description.
  5. Click the Save button.

Editing a Worker Group

  1. Click the Edit icon in the relevant record row of the worker group you want to edit.
  2. In the opened window, make the necessary changes.
  3. Click the Save button to save the changes.

Deleting a Worker Group

  1. Click the Delete icon in the relevant record row of the worker group you want to delete.
  2. Confirm the deletion.

Adding an Advance Type

  1. Click on Company Special Settings > Company Dictionary in the menu.
  2. Click on the Advance Types tab.
  3. Click the + New Record Add button.
  4. In the opened window, enter the Item Name and Description.
  5. Click the Save button.

Editing an Advance Type

  1. Click the Edit icon in the relevant record row of the advance type you want to edit.
  2. In the opened window, make the necessary changes.
  3. Click the Save button to save the changes.

Deleting an Advance Type

  1. Click the Delete icon in the relevant record row of the advance type you want to delete.
  2. Confirm the deletion.

Adding an Award Type

  1. Click on Company Special Settings > Company Dictionary in the menu.
  2. Click on the Award Types tab.
  3. Click the + New Record Add button.
  4. In the opened window, enter the Item Name and Description.
  5. Click the Save button.

Editing an Award Type

  1. Click the Edit icon in the relevant record row of the award type you want to edit.
  2. In the opened window, make the necessary changes.
  3. Click the Save button to save the changes.

Deleting an Award Type

  1. Click the Delete icon in the relevant record row of the award type you want to delete.
  2. Confirm the deletion.

Adding a Penalty Type

  1. Click on Company Special Settings > Company Dictionary in the menu.
  2. Click on the Penalty Types tab.
  3. Click the + New Record Add button.
  4. In the opened window, enter the Item Name and Description.
  5. Click the Save button.

Editing a Penalty Type

  1. Click the Edit icon in the relevant record row of the penalty type you want to edit.
  2. In the opened window, make the necessary changes.
  3. Click the Save button to save the changes.

Deleting a Penalty Type

  1. Click the Delete icon in the relevant record row of the penalty type you want to delete.
  2. Confirm the deletion.

Adding a Location Group

  1. Click on Company Special Settings > Company Dictionary in the menu.
  2. Click on the Location Groups tab.
  3. Click the + New Record Add button.
  4. In the opened window, enter the Item Name and Description.
  5. Click the Save button.

Editing a Location Group

  1. Click the Edit icon in the relevant record row of the location group you want to edit.
  2. In the opened window, make the necessary changes.
  3. Click the Save button to save the changes.

Deleting a Location Group

  1. Click the Delete icon in the relevant record row of the location group you want to delete.
  2. Confirm the deletion.

Adding a Shift Group

  1. Click on Company Special Settings > Company Dictionary in the menu.
  2. Click on the Shift Groups tab.
  3. Click the + New Record Add button.
  4. In the opened window, enter the Item Name and Description.
  5. Click the Save button.

Editing a Shift Group

  1. Click the Edit icon in the relevant record row of the shift group you want to edit.
  2. In the opened window, make the necessary changes.
  3. Click the Save button to save the changes.

Deleting a Shift Group

  1. Click the Delete icon in the relevant record row of the shift group you want to delete.
  2. Confirm the deletion.
