Leave Type Management
This screen is used in the My Employees PDKS application to manage different types of leave. You can define, edit, or remove leave types according to your needs. The system allows you to specify whether each leave type is paid, requires a report, and how it is created.
Leave Type List
Leave Type List shows the existing leave types defined in the system and provides information such as whether they are paid, whether they require a reports.
Columns in the Leave Type List
- Leave Type Name: The name of the leave type, such as "Annual Paid Leave" or "Maternity Leave".
- Is it Paid?: Indicates whether the leave type is paid.
- Is it Reported?: Indicates whether the leave type requires a report.
Interaction Options
The Leave Type Management screen provides the following options for interacting with leave types:
- Add New Record: Allows you to add a new leave type to the system.
- Export to Excel: Allows you to export the leave type list to an Excel file, which can be used for reporting or documentation purposes.
- Refresh: Refreshes the list to display the most up-to-date information.
All leave types created or managed on this screen directly affect how employee leaves are tracked and reported throughout the system.
Adding Leave Types
To add a new leave type or edit an existing one, follow these steps:
- Click the Add New Record button.
- Enter the necessary information such as the leave type name, whether it is paid, whether it requires a report, and the creation method.
- Save the new or updated leave type so it becomes selectable within the system.
Ensure that all required fields are filled out to successfully save a new or edited leave type.
Editing Leave Types
To edit an existing leave type:
- Select the leave type you want to edit.
- Confirm the edit process.
Deleting Leave Types
To delete an existing leave type:
- Select the leave type you want to delete.
- Confirm the deletion process.

Deleting a leave type will permanently remove it from the system, and any associated leave records may be affected.
