Message Scheduling
The Message Scheduling screen is used for managing scheduled messages.
By using the Message Scheduling screen, you can ensure that automatic messages are sent to specified message groups on certain dates. This feature allows you to automatically send messages on special occasions like birthdays, New Year's, and Ramadan Bayram, as well as schedule automatic messages for your planned tasks. This way, you can manage your communication processes more efficiently and systematically.
Message Scheduling Screen Definitions
- Recipient Group: The name of the message group to which the message will be sent.
- Transmission Channels
- Browser: Indicates whether the message will be sent through the browser.
- Notification: Indicates whether the message will be sent as a notification.
- Email: Indicates whether the message will be sent as an email.
- SMS: Indicates whether the message will be sent as an SMS.
- Message Type: Specifies the type of the message (e.g., Birthday Message, New Year's Message).
- Sending Date: The date and time when the message will be sent (for the
Other
Message Type). - Message Template: Dropdown menu to select a predefined message template.
Adding a New Scheduled Message
- Click the Add New Record button.
- In the form that opens, select the Recipient Group.
- Select which channels the message will be sent through (Browser, Notification, Email, SMS).
- Select the Message Type.
- To set a specific date and time for sending the message, select Other as the Message Type and enter the Sending Date and Time.
- Select the Message Template.
- To write a custom message, select --None-- as the Message Template and write the message in the Message Content field.
- Click the Save button to create the scheduled message.
Example of Creating a Scheduled Message for Birthdays
In this example, we will explain step-by-step how to create a scheduled message to send birthday wishes to all personnel.

Click the Add New Record button to open the "Scheduled Message Information" form.

In the Recipient Group field, select the message group representing all personnel to whom the message will be sent. (Assuming a Message Group for All Personnel has been created.)

In the Transmission Channel section, select the channels through which the message will be sent. You can select multiple channels. For example:
- Browser
- Notification
- SMS

Select "Birthday Message" from the Message Type dropdown menu.

From the Message Template dropdown menu, you can select a predefined template or choose --None-- to write a custom message.

In the Message Content field, write the message you want to send. You can use the Personnel Name variable to personalize the message. For example:
Dear {#EMPFULLNAME}, We wish you a very happy birthday. May your new age bring you health, happiness, and success. Best regards, Worksoft Yazılım

After entering all the information, click the Save button in the bottom right corner. Your message will be sent automatically on the recorded birth dates of all personnel through the selected channels.
Editing a Scheduled Message
- Find the scheduled message in the list.
- Click the Edit icon at the end of the row to view the details of the message.
- After making the necessary adjustments, click the Save button to save the changes.
Deleting a Scheduled Message
- Find the scheduled message in the list.
- Click the Delete icon at the end of the row.
- Confirm the deletion to delete the Scheduled Message.
